No pathology results yet (3/23/10 @ 3:47 PM)

I have left messages with Dr. Desaloms office yesterday and today and we keep trading phone calls.

They DO NOT have any pathology results back yet, even though they said they should get them within two weeks. It's been two weeks, one day, and 3 hours since they were sent away, so I hope they realize that we're playing a waiting game that's not a whole lotta fun.

We still feel confident that the results are going to show that the tumor will be benign, but HEARING the words will only make us feel better.

Bryan is looking and feeling great. He got a haircut yesterday and we messed with the girl a little bit while she was cutting his hair (of course). He felt like a new man when he left.

He's still 'wobbly' when he walks and gets irritated or confused when noises are loud or there's too much movement in the room. His peripheral vision isn't a whole lot better, but we know that's going to take some time.

I want everyone to know that we will post something on the blog as soon as we know something about pathology and we will make personal phone calls to family. Please don't call Bryan and ask him if he's heard any news from the doctor yet; that just makes the waiting harder. Thank you for thinking of him and showing your concern. He still loves to hear from you.

Hope to share good news soon. Please pray specifically that the results will come in soon (that they're not lost in the mail :-0!) and that we can get to the doctors office soon to hear them from the doctor.

Thanks everyone,
Gayla

  1. bryan and gayla... we all wait anxiously right behind you. God is teaching a whole lot of awful patience isn't He? Just remember He is in control and He already knows the outcome....He will take of everything.
Psalm 27:14 says "wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord".....
we continue to pray for only the best news!!!
